As Ron Foster’s beloved history books have shown him, our countries are more torn than ever, the US alone housing seventy states full of conflicting ideals. Ron gets by his young-adult life by taking it away from others—collecting debt on the crumpled streets of Detroit in 2075. When one job goes wrong, Ron flees to the sewers. Finding two celestially-perfected creatures called alphas, Running from the past brings his beliefs crippling down, as Khros and Egill soon reveal to him that the one he prays to (his Christian God) doesn’t exist. 

Armed with this radical knowledge, Ron searches for more of life's answers and a means to live with himself. Despite the true deities of the world hindering his every step, Ron concludes that the world is on the verge of a great genocide. Wishing to protect humanity, he must face off against Brian Oberg, a weapon’s company CEO who believes killing hundreds of thousands will rectify the planet’s damage. Bodies dropping like flies along the way, to stop it all means placing himself square in the Half-God’s way. Both sides longing to take action, one wrong choice here will mean the end of everything, and in that end, no god may walk the earth ever again.
