Counterfeit Benjamins: A Poem Excerpt
Paper,
Greener than hopeful
Eyes.
The harbinger to my misery,
What keeps me up at night.
Paper,
For love I would give it
All.
You've made me rich in wealth,
Yet poor where you dug your scythe.
I
wish
I
could
live
happily,
but paper is more plentiful,
than anything else in my life.

ZEKE'S GOAL
January 12th 2026
Imagine walking down a street where nobody can fathom being social off of Facebook or Twitter.
Never mind imagining, for some its the norm.
I believe that logic and emotion are slowly becoming two disjointed-unmixable ideals. Scientific, spiritual and religious leaders attempt to expand our knowledge; yet many are too afraid of change to accept it.
If we had conversations around dodgy topics and tried to be compassionate to the other side, I argue that we could at the least work towards change. Stories remain for many solely stories. To me, art is a window into a world where we can relate fictional core values and themes on a grander scale. Themes not so far off from the atrocity's humanity has seen.
Totalitarianism and genocide are still modern subjects, ones that require unity to deal with and stop from ever happening again.

Reach Far
We might think otherwise, but we can still reach situations without violence.
Let me write to you, we can reach people all across the world. We can communicate and make change.
